VHB tape is a polyacrylate double-sided foam tape produced using a unique solvent-free manufacturing technology. Foam core and surface adhesives are all made of polyacrylate-based visco-elastic materials, rather than coated on both sides of the foam core material. Cloth adhesive, which is also the biggest difference between VHB tape and common foam tape, can be vividly called "Solid glue". This special structure gives the tape a special overall viscoelasticity, and the tape as a whole can effectively dissipate the stress inside the adhesive joint through the mechanical relaxation of the tape, thereby effectively protecting the bonding line. The foam core of VHB tape is a 100% closed-cell structure, and neither water nor air can pass through.
